Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival 2026

Our Apple Choir just performed at the Garry Point Park in Richmond last weekend.

This was the third year for us to participate this family friendly festival.

Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival is hosted by the City of Richmond and organised by the BC Wakayama Kenjin Kai.

We sang without any accompaniments except Edelweiss we had a guitar played by Masa. We included songs from various cultures and eras into our programme.

Christmas concert 2025

Our Apple Choir performed at several places in the community for the Christmas season 2025.

Friday Dec 12 at Vancouver General Hospital.

Saturday December 13 (Afternoon) at the South Granville Park Lodge.

Yesterday, Sunday November 24 2025, we held a wonderful concert again! Thank you to all the performers, their families and their friends!

I know it's not easy to perform in front of people at 100% of you due to nervousness, however I'm so proud of you that each of you managed to give your best despite the any kinds of pressure. I hope you recognize and admire yourselves in term of the amount of practice and effort you have been putting in up until this day. Since we selected the songs, you have been practicing over and over again. It's incredible you made your performance yesterday!

I hope you enjoy watching your videos of you now. As always, I hope you heard your sound at the beautiful sound effected venue, this is a special opportunity we can't get everyday. Please also let me know if there are any songs that other people have played yesterday that you would like to learn.

I would like to say thank you to all families who continue to encourage and support your musicians at home!
