"APPLE CHOIR
Apple Choir was established in 2009 from a core group of Ayako’s voice
students, and has since grown with more singers joining from outside of her
studio. We sing in many languages: Latin, Swedish, German, Finnish,
French, Danish, Italian, Japanese and more. We perform at many concerts
and competitions, and at different venues including hospitals, senior
centres, community centres, churches etc. This year we participated for
the Kiwanis Music Festival and were again nominated to the Performing Arts
BC Festival. We will sing at Kerrisdale Senior centre next month, and our
annual charity concert at the West Point Grey United Church is
coming soon on Sunday November 18. This year, we will perform the opera
‘Figaro’s Marriage’ in costume. Please come and enjoy the show! This will
be the first time for us to participate in the Living Room Art in the Heights.
We are excited to see you all!"
